Returns/Cancellation Policy
Returns
If you believe that goods you purchased from us are faulty, damaged or not as described, then please contact us and explain your problem. If you leave a message with us, we will endeavour to return your email within 24 business hours -as we are a small company please bere in mind that we may not return an email to you immediately. If it cannot be resolved, we may ask you to return them within a reasonable time frame, with an explanation of the problem, and we will deliver a refund or rectify the problem. We need the coffee back so that we can determine what went wrong from our end so as to avoid any repeat problems. We will accept returned coffee with up to 100grams missing, ie enough for you to determine if something is wrong.
Cancellation
Where you exercise your right to cancel an order, we will give you a refund within 30 days of the cancellation. Once an order is dispatched by us, it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it, unopened, for a refund.
Privacy Policy
We are totally committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders. When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address and phone number, so that we can send your your goods and also so that we can contact you about the status of your order.
We keep a record of your name, address and phone number because it is necessary to provide these to the delivery courier – this is standard practice in mail order.
Credit Card Details
Credit card payments are processed for us by WorldNet TPS, a secure, online third-party payment processor based in Ireland. We never see your credit card details, and we don’t have access to them.
Retaining Your Details
With your consent we remember your data for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in the “delivery” form on our store each time you decide to buy from us. This data is used for this purpose and this purpose alone, and is stored on your own computer, as a web-browser “cookie”. We will not use this information for our newsletter or any mailouts we do.
IP Address
For the normal functioning of the web store, it is necessary for us to temporarily remember information about the network address of your computer. This information is erased when you complete a purchase, and is not stored in any long-term database.
General
We will not disclose, sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
Delivery
Delivery is calculated based on package weight, and we try to choose the most cost-effective service possible. We ship 227g as this equates to a half-pound, and also allows for a combined package weight of just less that 500g – thus making postage cheaper for you.
Delivery on the island of Ireland
Because we are based in Ireland, deliveries to Northern Ireland are cheaper than to Great Britain. If your delivery address is in Northern Ireland, please choose “Northern Ireland” rather than “United Kingdom”, and you’ll get a better deal.
As we dispatch orders on Wednsday with either a courier or An Post, you will receive your order thursday. Deliveries are usually made mid morning. There are some limited circumstances and locations around Ireland that are outside this time frame, taking 2 days, however these are minimal and beyond our control.

Delivery to European Union
We will happily deliver to EU addresses. Be aware, however, that orders placed to addresses within the European Union are subject to the Value Added Tax (VAT) rates applicable in the Republic of Ireland.
Currently, no VAT is charged on coffee, but other articles are charged at 21%.
Like all taxes, VAT rates are subject to change. For your information, your order confirmation includes a breakdown of the amount of Irish VAT charged on your order.
Delivery times within the EU vary widely, and this is entirely beyond our control. We have general advice that the maximum time is 28days.
Delivery outside the EU
We will send orders to countries outside the European Union, and these articles will be sent without Irish VAT applied. (“Zero-rated Export”).
If your delivery address is not in the European Union, your order will be recalculated in order to exclude VAT. The price you pay will be the price of the goods, excluding taxes.
Note that you may still be liable for domestic import duties, taxes or charges on your goods when you receive them. These fees must be paid by you.

Electrical Safety
All electrical goods we sell are certified for use in the European Union, and all carry the “CE” product approval mark. Devices are designed to operate on an electrical supply of 240 Volts, 50 Hz AC, and will not work in territories using different electrical supply. Please check before you order.
Unless otherwise stated, electrical equipment is supplied with a BS 1363 three-pin power plug suitable for use in UK and Ireland.
Import Compliance
We cannot keep up to date on the tax and customs legislation of the world’s nations — it’s hard enough keeping up with our own! Because of this, we would ask you to make sure, before you order, that you are allowed to import the products into your country, and to determine what additional charges you will have to pay. Coffee in particular is subject to restriction or special taxes in some countries.
We cannot be held responsible for the loss, impounding or destruction of your goods due to breaches of your country’s Customs regulations.
